Boturich CastleNestled on the tranquil banks of Loch Lomond, Boturich Castle is a historic and romantic setting for our wedding celebration. Located just outside the village of Balloch in Alexandria, Scotland, the castle offers breathtaking views of Loch Lomond and the surrounding highlands, creating a picturesque backdrop for the day.​​

 

Getting to Boturich CastleFrom Edinburgh, Boturich Castle is approximately a 1 hour and 45-minute drive. Take the M8 west towards Glasgow, then merge onto the M898 and follow signs for Erskine Bridge. Cross the bridge and join the A82 north toward Balloch. Continue on the A82 until you reach Balloch, where you’ll follow local signs to the castle.​From Glasgow, Boturich Castle is roughly a 45-minute drive. Head northwest on the M8, then take the exit toward the A82 (signposted for Dumbarton). Continue along the A82, following signs for Loch Lomond and Balloch. When you arrive in Balloch, follow signs to Boturich Castle.​​

 

Wedding Day Bus ServiceWe’re arranging a bus to help guests travel conveniently from Glasgow to Boturich Castle. The exact pickup location within Glasgow will be confirmed closer to the date, depending on who would like to use this service. The bus will take guests to the venue before the ceremony and return to Glasgow at the end of the evening. Please let us know if you would like to reserve a spot on the bus when you RSVP.
